Artist Bob Carter on vacation in 2004
in South Carolina. Collecting Horseshoe Crab specimen for future painting but his wife "Donna" would not let him return with
it on the plane.

Bob took a couple of years off from working
in the gas compression industry from 1991 until 1993 to study and work as an artist in South Carolina and Oregon. The paintings
were airbrushed on panels up to 8 feet in length and used for wall decor. These are a few of the examples of his work from
this time period.

Bob and his wife Donna lived in Argentina
from 1994 until 1998 as expats, as he worked in the oil & gas industry. Their time living in Argentina was divided between
Neuquen and Buenos Aires. Here are a few examples of artwork during their Argentina stay. These are a combination of airbrushing
and brush painting. The Toucan bird in the picture is approx. 4 feet in height. The others were painted on wooden bowls or
panels
